Hull FC have announced two friendlies ahead of the 2018 Betfred Super League campaign, as they take on cross-city rivals Hull Kingston Rovers and Catalans Dragons at the KCOM Stadium.
The Black and Whites will compete against Hull Kingston Rovers for the Clive Sullivan Trophy on Sunday 14th January at the KCOM Stadium (kick-off 2pm).
Hull also have two other matches scheduled in January, with training ground matches against recently relegated Leigh Centurions and the high-flying Toronto Wolfpack also lined up during January.
The derby clash will once again be played in honour of former player for both sides Clive Sullivan MBE, who amassed 352 appearances for Hull and 213 games for Hull KR.
The match will also celebrate Danny Houghton’s Testimonial year and Hull FC will be making a donation to his testimonial fund from their proceeds from the game in recognition of his service to the club over the last decade.
And then a week later, the back-to-back Challenge Cup winners will then entertain the Dragons at the KCOM Stadium on Sunday 21st January (kick-off 2pm) in their final warm-up match.
The French oufit are now coached by former Hull FC player Steve McNamara who will lock horns with former team mate Lee Radford for the first time as coaches.
